actually, I hate weekends :-( in a way. even if I had been exhausted and needed this more than anything.
work is great, the only things that keeps me going, but generally way too much, too many hours, too many responsibilities, but I cannot deal with weekends either.
nothing is ever going to be good. :-(

Pailin, you said you would have good questions for the Q of the day thread right? if nobody asks tomorrow (I mean about 24 hours from now), could you please post the next one? I'm tired of reminding people to ask somebody, I rather ask you :-)

It is so busy these days at work. We're about to end our university term and I feel like everyone tries to fit in one last event or one last meeting. I'll be here in the summer (I work all year) and it will be dead quiet...but no, these days...these days are so hard!

A colleague fo mine announced today that she was quitting to go work on the Semester at Sea. I'm so envious. I'd love to get away....AWAY!

Semester at Sea? now, that sounds interesting! is it a cruise ship or what? :-D

will there be any work in the summer, or do you just have to hang around and get bored for nothing?

It would be nice if it were south-east asia... and it might go there. It is a cruise ship that takes university students on a semester long trip around the world. Professors are on board, staff on board...it's like am mini, floating university. They make a different port of call each weekend and you're on your own to travel until the boat disembarks. All of the course work is about international such and such and you learn about each country before arriving.

I'd just like to sail away... yes, I'll be here all summer...but much quiter! :)

Actually, I don't think it is too expensive... tuition is so high in the US right now. My university is US$40,000.00 a year! I can't imagine!

thank god for free education. I would never have had the chance to get a degree if I had had to pay for it. when I was 19, my family was getting benefits just to have something to eat at all. :-(
