Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej confirmed on Sunday that he will support a debate by the Senate on Monday, and attend a two-day censure debate during the following two days.
A two-day debate is enough, he said, for the opposition to highlight its complaints against the government. The government has been just four months in office, with no mega-projects yet signed, he said.
Speaking during his weekly Talking in Samak style TV programme, the prime minister also ripped the news media for giving too much respect to the leaders of the People's Alliance for Democracy.
It was "unfair" he said, to give credit to the five PAD core leaders, and raise them to the status of the prime minister.
"It annoys me to see the way the media makes these five people equivalent to the prime minister," Mr Samak said.
The leaders of the street rallies are driven only by a hatred for ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra, and have no legitimate reason to hold any rallies aimed at the current government.
"Mr Thaksin is already being tried in court but the rallies continue," he said.
"The government has cancelled its plans to amend the constitution. [PM's Office Minister] Jakrapob Penkair hs resigned, but they still continue to demonstrate. They change their reasons but they continue their hatred and their grudges" towards Mr Thaksin.

Where is this court and how many days have they held court proceedings?? I have seen nothing in the news about it.

Why would Samak The Simian be mad because to the media saying that 5 PAD members do nothing??

I can't say he "did nothing".... he did visit basicaslly all the neighbourhood countries "wet markets"! He even had food poisioning from food tasting from one of them. How can anyone says he did nothing? He also supported the re-instatement of Duang returning to become a army officer and defended him saying he wasn't convicted of any crimes so its his rights to return. Among these, he also has his own TV talk shows once every week. :D
