    Rama IX Park

This can't really be regarded as a member's trip, since it's only a 10 min drive from home, but if you're in Bangkok and you've got a free afternoon, Rama IX Park is a real gem.

    It's bigger than...

My Travel Story: Re: Wang Nam Keow, Ratchasima

Thanks Anatta, I'm sure there must be a map on one of those links. Should point out that although I said it's on the Ratchasima-Saraburi road, it's a smaller road, not the main road between the two...

My Travel Story: Re: Wang Nam Keow, Ratchasima

While it was still about 28-30 degrees in Bangkok, it was cool in the evening here and the morning dew was so heavy it looked like it had rained in the night.

My Travel Story: Wang Nam Keow, Ratchasima

We went to Wang Nam Keow last week, a district of Nakhorn Ratchasima on the edge of Khao Yai National Park. It's quite close to Bak Chong Chai, on the road from Ratchasima to Saraburi.

    The main...

Brown Sugar is the only other jazz place I've ever found, tho I have heard that there's a place that hosts blues bands near Victory Monument. I'll ask a few friends what the name is.

Maybe not. Alcohol companies are banned from advertising on TV and if someone is drinking alcohol, or smoking, on TV the offending article is pixellated out so it's all blurry.
