Hi there,
I think I can say I am new to TCB. I have been chatting for 2 months. I'v never experienced the old TCB but the new one seems to have logging in-out problem or what we called" the invisible revolving door" :-) SOme day I got logged out 10 times in 30-35 minutes so it can be frustrating. I hope you can fix this problem.

The old TCB was better for low-speed connections.
Why don't you propose it in parallel?
Is it not technically possible?

I just join thaichat box when I sign in it said I have been banned. How long does it take to go to other stuffs in this website.

Could it be that ceylin's IP address is banned? (Or used by a member who has been banned?)

Ceylin, I was in Bkk a couple of months back and when I logged in TCB from my hotel I got a notice that I was banned. Then I shifted to another internet cafe and was able to log in. Would you like to try that first?

I have just started using an Apple laptop and have found a problem in the chat. While i am able to write thai in a word document, (for e.g.), i cannot write thai in the chat. All i get is the english letters. What do i have to change to make this work?

I'm about the same with Nigel.

- Slow responding to log in page -- until many times I gave up.
- Profile and ID from old room, once go to new room they changed name, and can't see who they are easily, get lost who we are talking to.
- Not easy to read or send message to -- no highlight, sometime slow show up.
- Get kick out many times.

Old one is just text, but might be convenience to use but difficult to develop to the one better. So, we will see what will be.

Plus, my personal time, I don't have chance to online as before. Chatted to some old friends in TCB, they are quite the same too.

You are right, this is one of the best features of the new TCB. Members can "whisper" or send Private Message unobtrusively this time without annoying other chatters with "snow" cluttering the screen.

The other special highlights of the new room include alert tones for new arrivals, new messages and departures; multi colored fonts; backgrounds that can be designed by the user; wide choice of avatars; and private rooms that can be created.

The newbies can always ask for assistance on how to use the different features. We will be happy to guide them.

i think mariek not right person to take care room.she ban me and other people with out reason.she ban i and other cuz she said just want to check ip.that so crazy.i think u have warning her cuz she bad modirator.she did it from guess.that mean no reason to ban people
