As a true newbie and without doubt:
1. Ong Bak 2 - the beginning (realistic action scenes, scenery, epic fight scenes)
2. The Legend of Suriyothai (a lesson in Thai history, Thai culture, great story)
3. Bang Rajan - part 1 (a lesson in Thai history, great story, in some ways the Thai '300', love the simple and 'no frills' feel to the movie)

That's cool... What's the title in Eng?
Sleep, little one, close your eyes, mother will sing you a lullaby... Sleep in a jewel cradle, sleep, mother will rock you.
If you don't sleep the midges will go for your eyes and pollen will fall on the cradle....Sleep, close your eyes...

Re: What's your favourite Thai movie of all time?
There isn't really an English Title for the Movie "TheSurgeon" mentioned, and there is a spelling mistake instead for "จีวอน บิน" it has to be "จีวรบิน",
anyway the full Movie Title is "เท่งโหน่งจีวรบิน" as เท่ง (Teng) and โหน่ง (Nong) are the Names of the 2 main Characters starring in this Movie.
The Title of this Movie is just the Romanization of the Thai Script: "Teng Nong Jiwon Bin" as listed at EthaiCD:

What "TheSurgeon" mentioned, "Eat Liver" is just the translation of the Title Song of this Movie: กินตับ = Eat Liver:

Re: What's your favourite Thai movie of all time?
To yy,
there was an misunderstanding, the Movie "milttos" mentioned "Unreal Forest" is not the English Title for "จีวรบิน", it's a completely different Movie and just his favourite Thai Movie. My interesting blog about Thailand at Thailand Blog ---> click here
