    Does "naka" mean anything?

    Hello everyone,

    As u can see in the title, does "na ka" or "naka" have any meaning in Thai?

    If you mean นะค่ะ (ná kâ) spoken at the end of a sentence, by a female it's a little like saying "OK?". na is a particle seeking agreement in a gentle way, or to soften a command. ka is a polite particle for females (like krap for males).

    As a total beginner in Thai and learning many new phrases to express missing someone..she replied many times with na ka..it makes sense as Mike put it to me.
