Richard, generally speaking , how is Grace getting on at school? Does she like it and miss it during holidays? Or is she not bothered either way? What subjects does she like best? What subjects does she not like?

Well, she is top of her class so she is not really having any problems. She likes English obviously and computer. She is also good at math. Though after the recent long holidays she said she didn't want to go back for some reason. Most kids miss their friends at school and are bored at home.

English AND Math! That is really good! Hopefully she has settled in again at school now.
Is she having a birthday cake at school today or Monday?

Nong Grace was in a short play during the lunch break today. She was the narrator for the story. As you can see from the second picture, she was putting on different voices during the story telling. Her class was the winner. I will upload the video later.

Interesting costume-looks like hill tribe. I came across something similar at a garden & resort I visited-there was a stall where visitors could hire similar costumes to dress up in-adults as well!.
Is this "dressing up" common?

Yes, it is quite common for Thai people to dress up like that to have their picture taken like this one.
