Shoes and martial arts equipment in bangkok?

Hello

Was wondering where i am able to buy some running shoes. i have been to some of the markets on khao san road but the selection there is very limited. i am looking for brands like Asics and Nike with a bit mroe selection than that offered in the street markets. are there any specific shoe markets or factories around bangkok. also looking for football boots. saw some in dept stores such as MBK but these were priced at local rates back home. perhaps theres a factory or somewhere with a bit of a selection nearby????

also, martial arts equipment?? anyone know of a good shop where i can buy some clothing and equipment from. ??? am in the look for some taekwondo gear , particularly pants and some sparring gear. any ideas??

Good luck. Let me know what you find because I have been looking for some time now too. I find that it is just as expensive or even more so than back home in NY. Also, problem with shopping in Thailand is that Asians "typically" have smaller feet than I do from what I have seen. Hard to find a shoe and even harder to find my size! Looking for a place to buy shoes too...
