    Tod mun khao pode

    Now is sweet corn season for me, I made some Tod mun khao pode this morning and it is one of my fav. snack. Eat them accompanied by cucumber salad as you do with the savory Tod mun plaa. I woul like to share the recipe.

    Tod mun khao pode
    Ingredients: 1 c. raw sweet corn (sliced from fresh cobs)
    1 coriander root
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    3 Tbs wheat flour
    2 Tbs rice flour (make sure your rice flour is fresh)
    Preparation: In motar and pestle, grind garlic, coriander root, salt and pepper. In medium bowl, mix all the ingredients together well. Or you can put all the ingredients in a blender and blend just to a pasty consistency. Do not over blend. Form patties and fry in hot oil in a pan (similar to when you are making pan cake). Do not deep fry since the patties will come apart. Serve with sweet and sour cucumber salad.
