Sorry to here your bad news, It makes you wonder how 50% of the migrants coming to Australia actually get in here, seeing the poor quality of migrant where get here, there lack of English skills, there conic unemployment, ability to manipulate the social security system and inability to fit into Australian society creating ghettoes of there own nationality. At least your wife could fit into Australian society.

This is a collective insult to people who migrate to Australia, Paul mate.

In the country a THB 100,000 would make a fine wedding. The bride and her family will have good face.

In the city it all depends on where you want to have the wedding and how you decorate. Generally speaking a wedding that is nice enough can be made for THB 100,000. This is not including a wedding in BKK with the reception at a hotel. For a proper drinking wedding another THB 20,000 would keep the wedding nice: until everbody gets sick of course.

Depends on what everything is. 600 people is a lot, are you providing food and drinks? At 150.000 THB thats 250 per head.

Our hastily arranged upcountry wedding was around 50,000 THB and was pretty much the whole village as well as all the relatives within a 3 hours drive. Couldn't a been more than 100 people at one time. Sorta hard for me to tell though, by the time we showed up it looked like they had already been partying all day, and they sure partied all night before the wedding, and through the wedding, and after the wedding.
