    เปรี้ยว

I know that เปรี้ยว literary means sour. But when เปรี้ยว is used as an idiom, I am not sure how to translate it into English, for example, ผู้หญิงคนนี้เปรี้ยวจัง.

    Any comments would be appreciative.

    Re: เปรี้ยว

I think that might be a direct translation from English. A sour person is someone who is sullen, bad-tempered or unpleasant.

Does จืด mean that the person is boring to be with?

I would say จืดชืด when I want to talk about a boring person. It's like nothing is standing out form that person.

According to Benjawan's Speak Like a Thai CD, สาวเปรี้ยว is a woman who is "sexy, confident, and expressive".

    Re: เปรี้ยว

I heard this couple of times from younger people describing an older woman.

Aayuu mak laew tae yang preow!
    old already but still "trendy"!

I think it means "trendy" or "sassy, stylish, or chic" as syn mentioned.
