    Pics of fog in Thailand

Fog is something we normally associate with North America and Europe.
Check out these amazing pictures from "The Nation" of fog in Thailand

Here's one of my window 1st thing in the morning, as the is just rising above the towers in front of me. Then there is one of the Rama VIII bridge with the full moon just breaking through the mist. And finally a couple from my window on a normal day during sunrise.

The first two photo's, I thought was just air pollution coursed by to many cars, a typical Bangkok day.

While smog and pollution are certainly an issue I think fog is more of a reality considering the humidity in the air. Certainly the seasons could play a heavy role too, I do not live there to make a better judgment, nor am I a meteorologist but smog doesn't tend to leave the sky in the early morning hours as the day begins to heat.

The pics are good thanks for posting them Ben Kroo and Khun Don.

I often read of air pollution in Bangkok but I have had no trouble there, on the other hand *every* time I go to London I have difficulty breathing as soon as I get off the coach or train and am often actually sick.

Strange. Must admit I have not been back to London for over 10 years after living an working there for many more without this problem. Could the sickness be a combination of the journey and, more so, the very poor ventilation that most UK coaches have ? Does your breathing improve in London after the initial reaction?
I suffered badly in Bangkok in Jan 1996, which was the last time I spent any time there-tight chest, sore throat, breathing problems.I now try to avoid it-I am afraid I had the same symptoms in Chiang Mai last time I was there. I imagine Bangkok is a lot worse now with the extra traffic? Perhaps I am wrong.

It improves throughout the day, but if I'm staying centrally in St Pancras Youth Hostel I will get a similar (but less each day) reaction when I go out each morning.

Haven't been to London for 5 years now though, other than Heathrow.

Thanks for the comments guys, honestly the last 2 pics are a normal sunrise, but the 1st 2 really were taken on a foggy morning, and a foggy evening
