    I'm not sure lol but in my hometown people call it ลาบเลือด LOL raw beef salad mixed with cow blood LOL

    This dish is called หมกสมองวัว. My great grandma loved it. It's cooked like อู๋ปลา except that the main ingredient isn't fish but cow's brain.

    hmm, my man calls it "goy neua" and a similar dish to that would be "laab dip" and its always eaten with isaan beef stew. HEHE!

    I suppose its "larb dip" aka "raw beef" you're talking about, I thought so too for my second answer after "goy neua" but thuggieduckie said it's "larb luerd".

    seriously, haha I can't differentiate what's what between those 3 dishes if it's presented to me on the table. Is there a difference in how its made or what it's made with?

    I thinkt they are one and the same. People in different areas call it differently. A lil bit to Lab leurd, without cow's blood, you call it koy neua/lab dib lol.

    oh... maybe its called differently by different provinces in Thailand, I heard chiangmai has it too.

    oh oh i think i shud try the larb luerd u mentioned sometime when im back in thailand. hahaha
