I suppose its "larb dip" aka "raw beef" you're talking about, I thought so too for my second answer after "goy neua" but thuggieduckie said it's "larb luerd".
seriously, haha I can't differentiate what's what between those 3 dishes if it's presented to me on the table. Is there a difference in how its made or what it's made with?
Care to share more Thuggieduckie?

I thinkt they are one and the same.
People in different areas call it differently. A lil bit to Lab leurd, without cow's blood, you call it koy neua/lab dib lol.

oh... maybe its called differently by different provinces in Thailand, I heard chiangmai has it too.
oh oh i think i shud try the larb luerd u mentioned sometime when im back in thailand. hahaha
