    Auto Parts

Hi everyone, I'm moving over to Bangkok for one month stay. While I'm there, I would like to know where I could get my hands on some auto parts. I'm driving a Toyota MR-S.

Toyota Thailand's English language website is at http://www.toyota.co.th/red/en/ and can be searched by region for dealers.

New, genuine Toyota parts are expensive here in Thailand. Generic parts are considerably cheaper. Second hand parts are readily available and they are cheap. The main area for second hand parts is the area called "Chiang Kong" located in the network of sois just to the West of Chulalongkorn university between Rama 4 road and Rama 1 Road, not far from MBK Shopping Centre. Banthat Thong Rd runs right through the area, here you can buy anything in the way of spare parts for most makes and models of car.

I've never seen an MR2/MR-S in Bangkok.
It's doubtful that you would find any model specific parts/accessories.

My ex GF's uncle had one in bkk and it had the dumbest phrased stuck on it via a sticker on the back window. I've seen others, they are there.
