Thai-Chinese Mixed Blood
I'm a Thai-Chinese mixed blood female whom is living in Hong Kong.
Since I have relatives in Thailand, and also I addicted to this place so much, I visit Thailand once a year. Around 4 years ago, I met a Thai guy which is really a nice gentleman. I can't deny, I'm addicted to him.
I do really wanna go further with him, though I understand there are many obstacles between us, such us distance, language (I'm working hard on it), culture etc.
I read an article before which is about "Thai guys addicted to Chinese girls nowadays". I'm not sure if the content of this article 100% true, so I would like to gather more & more opinions here.
Do Thai guys really have an addiction on Chinese girls nowadays? How do Thai guys think about Chinese girls? Just like me, a Thai-Chinese mixed blood.
Many thanks.

You sound like you're addicted to the word "addict".

But yes, many Thai are "addicted" to people with "fair complexion". Thats why you can see whitening cream commercials everywhere.

Re: Thai-Chinese Mixed Blood
If you are talking about Chinese girls in China/HK itself then the answer is "No". Both Thai male (little bit) and especially feamles do have a bit of a infatuation with North Asains; Japanese and Korean. The latter of which is immensely popular these days as is proven by the amount of corny Korean soapies shown on TV.
You must have lived in Hong Kong for years and years since you were a child. Sure, Thais guys prefer the fairer complexion of the Thai-Chinese - in fact, obsession of fair-skin is altogether an Asian trait. Just the opposite to Caucasians preferance of 'sun-tanned skin'. Us lying on a beach to change our skin-colour is just as weird as Asians and their whitening lotions.www.thai-blogs.com - Stories and Photos about Life in Thailand

Although I'm one of those Caucasians who prefer white over tanned.

Ha, many thanks for all of your replies.
In the article I mentioned, it also listed out some reaons why Thai guys addicted to Chinese gals. One of the reasons is that they are under an obsession of "fair complexion of Thai-Chinese". It seems a truth huh !?

It's more like physical appeal rather than really falling in love with them.

let me be the anti-climax here. I prefer more sunlight friendly people.. more tanned = looks more active and healthy.
