Looking for Thai Clubbing songs (at G star pub)

    Hi guys,
I've just came back from a trip to BKK and i found the songs that they were playing in the club is so nice and i want to know what are the songs.

Does anyone knows the songs that they play in the G star pub?
I'm looking for the classic thai club songs whereby everyone hears those songs they will start to dance.

    Thanks in advance.

Umm..I'm not sure if the Gstar Pub has their own specific playlist, but from all the clubs I know about, anything by the Gancore Club is usually a staple song you're bound to hear at least once during the night; such as Joey Boy's classic "Slow Motion," "Playgirl" by Zom, "Hua Lai Dtoot" by MAF, anything by Buddha Bless.. That's what I usually hear. Hope that helps at all?

    hey, thanks for the help.
i've search all songs that you mention but none of them are what i'm looking for.
i think the song is some kind of thai pop music? or something like very old dance song which everyone knows.

The problem is that there are thousands of very famous old Thai Songs they will play in every Pub from time to time.

Every time these songs start all Thais will raise their hands and sing along.

So very hard to find a special Song.

Next time you go ask a Thai next to you to write down the Song Name and Artist in Thai Script, this way you can buy the Song later.

That's what I do every time.

Or ask the Staff Members to write it down, usually they will know all the Songs played.

If I have time I will list some of these very popular old Thai Songs; I will start a New Thread.

So look out for it and step by from time to time.

Everybody can contribute to this New Thread.

Something like "All Time Famous Thai Songs".

Good advice djaidee. It seems like all the requests for the name of a Thai song are prefaced with "It's a song that everyone knows" or "Everyone sings along with this song." But I've gotten familiar with a lot of these songs and there's always songs that everyone sings together that I don't know yet.

I am a pub veteran though and I've never heard of this G Star pub. Next time, see if you can ask the DJ for his playlist. I know places like Slim @ RCA they have DJs spinning stuff on stage but they aren't actually mixing anything. They used CDs and it wouldn't surprise me if there's a few CDs that have the songs premixed on them. Different pubs play different songs, but the same pubs usually play the same songs every night.

    You are so right badfish.

I am a Pub Veteran with Live Bands as well.

Sometimes I think I already know these "All Times Famous Thai Songs"; but every time I go I will get to know some Songs I didn't know yet.

Good for me is that most of my Thai friends I go to these Pubs are very good in knowing these Songs.

I don't even have to ask them by now, they see my face and without asking they write down Song Name and Artist.

Good advice to ask the DJ or some Staff Members for the Playlist, if something like this exists.
