Congratulations! That was a very good effort. How long have you been learning Thai? I think you need a little more work on the tones, but keep trying, you are definitely heading in the right direction. Faa is correct when she says this is a good website where people offer encouragement and support. We hope to hear more from you.

Here are some suggestions from a native Thai speaker:
1. Thai is a tonal language. You can hear tone in the word(s), but Thai people don't speak with melody. You don't need to put a stress or intonation on the word that has more than one syllable.
2. When speaking Thai, pay attention to à àÃ×Í, Å ÅÔ§ and µÑǤǺ¡ÅéÓ (consonant clusters). You must say them clearly.
3. It seems to me that you have a problem pronouncing » »ÅÒ. It is a blend between letters b and p; for example the word ä» (bpai).
4. I suggest you practice reading Thai everyday. This will help strengthen your mouth muscles. The more you practice reading Thai, the more flexible you mouth muscles will become.
5. Listen to book on audio in Thai and read it at the same time. Record you own voice and compare with that of the Thai speaker. Listen to your trouble spots and try to correct them. Ask a native Thai speaker to pronounce the word(s) that you have trouble for you.

laoshu505000, that was amazing! I am so impressed. You obviously put a lot of work into this video and your study of Thai language. I especially appreciated your comment that the reason you study Thai language is that it is fun. It is SO fun...my favorite hobby. I hope you continue to come to these forums and study with us. We all learn from each other here!

Good job. You seem to be getting comfortable speaking Thai, and it takes guts to tackle a video like that.
Suzie's got a point: if you want to sound clearer and improve your pronunciation, you should find any recordings (there are a lot on the learningthai.com site!) with the letters µ and », and the vowel Í××.
They're always tough for us North Americans and you need to just keep repeating them over and over.
It's also important to make sure that each time you learn a new word, you repeat it over and over with its proper tone... it'll eventually come out that way on its own, without you having to think about it.
keep it up!

Superb video clip!!!! You have been studying for 2 months but I think you are doing very well. May I suggest you to correct the word? I think you wanted to say " ÃèÓ àÃÕ¹ " not ÃÓè àÃÕ¹". You will be too tired to dance and study at the same time. :-)
You will be an expert in no time.
