I notice, the new fashion, every one is walking around in bare feet, something I never do.
Have you ever been to Thailand?

Maybe you don't realize this, but it is normal practice in Thailand to take off your shoes when you enter the house of someone else. The people in question left their flip flops by the front door. It is not normal to walk around outside, and around town, without shoes like they do in Australia.

    Re: Nong Grace and Christmas

To drag this thread kicking and screaming back on subject,
I received -after one order cancellation by a supplier-the last of Nong Grace's Christmas books"-Kipper's Christmas Eve" and all have been dispatched.
The Post Office assures me the parcel will arrive before Christmas as the backlog of mail caused by the recent difficulties will be cleared very quickly.
    Hope that is right.

Here are some pictures of Nong Grace taken at school this morning with Father Christmas.

Pailin, your present for Nong Grace arrived yesterday on Christmas Eve. Just on time! I will take some pictures later of her opening presents. She has already decided herself she will only open a few each day.

I went back and had a look at my old photo's with my former Thai Girlfriend, And it was me who was the only one who had there shoes on in the house, I had a habit of only taking my shoes off in Thailand once I went to bed, the reason for this was there was no carpet on the floor like in my house at home and I would only walk around in bare feet if the house had carpet and I did not have a pare of slippers with me.

Nice photo of Santa and that must be one of the best examples of a fake looking beard I've ever seen, but I'm shore it's real.

Oh, I'm so glad...I was worried it would be late! I think the book is over her head...but the title and main character should be of some interest!

    ps...what an adorable santa!
