Man shot in front of PAD security guards

A man was shot and wounded in his shoulder after he and three companions argued with security guards of the People's Alliance for Democracy early on Sunday.

Police said they were investigating who was responsible for the shooting.

According to officers, four men from Samut Prakan province were driving home from the anti-coup rally at Rajamangala National Stadium when they decided to drive by the Government House, occupied by political rivals from the PAD.

They had an argument with PAD guards. As they drove away, their car collided with a taxi, and gunfire was heard.

One person, identified by police as a man in his early 20s, was shot in the shoulder.
