PAD vows to fight off police crackdowns

PAD vows to fight off police crackdowns

Suriyasai Katasila, a leading member of the People's Alliance for Democracy, announced Thursday evening that the PAD-led protesters would fight off police if they are deployed to crack down on the protesters at the Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports.

"If the government wants to clear the protesters, let it try. The PAD will protect all locations because we are using our rights to demonstrate peacefully without causing damages to state properties or rioting," Suriyasai said.

Court orders protesters to leave Don Mueang Airport

The Civil Court Thursday issued an injunction to order 13 leaders of the People's Alliance for Democracy to lead protesters out of the Don Mueang Airport immediately.

The court ruled in favour of the AOT Plc that the occupation of the airport by the protesters affected the constitutional rights of the public to receive air transport service as well as affecting their liberty to travel.

How about some arrest warrants for the "13 leaders of the People's Alliance for Democracy"?

Looking at photos of the occupation it appears they are having a ball.
Seems to me it was high time someone stood up and told them the party is over and it is time for them to go home.

I think-or rather hope-the police will soon make that point!

The big hero Sondhi Limthongkul has apparently retreated to ASTV HQ. And there's a rumour he has a plane on standby to fly him to Australia if things don't turn out the way he's telling all those middle-aged housewives at his rallies that it will.

He's planning to sneak out of Suvarnabhumi after the police move in disguised in a red shirt.
