Some people are still reporting seeing the "server busy" sign even though we have now moved the jukebox to ethaimusic.com. Every month we have had record number of visitors and this month has been no different. Last month the site did 14 GB of data transfer. We are only allowed 15 GB in a one month period. If too many people try to access the web site in a one hour period then flood control is activated. This basically means that if you see the "server busy" sign you will have to wait your turn until someone leaves before you can enter.

Up to yesterday we had already done 12 GB of data transfer for this month (which is a lot as most sites don't do more than 1 GB). We still have seven days to go for this month which might mean we will have some trouble next week.

As a consequence, we will have to move learningthai.com to a new and more powerful server next month.

We are sorry if anyone has experienced problems with the web site recently and hopefully this will be resolved soon.

    Mui,
It just means that there is traffic or in other words so many people visit the eThaimusic site that other members can not check out the site. I hope that make sense. Don't worry earlier this morning I tried to check out the eThaimusic website and of course I couldn't reach my final destination.

    thumbs up

You say your only allowed 14 GB of bandwidth per month. Are you using your schools server or have you purchased a shared account from a hosting company? Have you ever thought of asking people to donate additional space? I would be happy to donate a shared account that would give you 30 GB a month.

Thanks for your kind offer but we are OK now. We are allowed 45 GB of data transfer per month and 600 MB of hard disk space. This is enough for now. We don't expect to have to upgrade until the end of the year. At the moment we use servers in America.
