English musician writing songs in Thai, looking for feedback

    Sawadee Khap
Hi there. I am an English musician and will soon have recorded a couple of serious songs in Thai, and when they are ready, I would really like some of you to listen and give me some feedback.
I am doing this as part of a large university project I have been working on about the music of Thailand, so I went to Thailand to study, and now I am writing songs, with help from a couple of Thai friends who are helping me translate.

One song will be ready to listen to in a couple of days. If there is anyone out there who are really into their music, then please leave a post, and I will arrange that you can hear it.

What also would be very good if you could Post the Lyrics in Thai Script here as well, so we are able to read/sing along

So we could also make comments/corrections to the Lyrics.

hey everyone...here is the youtube link to the song I have written... The song is still rough and I was rushed for time, and I have never tried to sing before, so there are a few things wrong with it, but I will polish it soon. I wrote and played all instruments, so it is 100% mine

    [ame="http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IyPCjsW4uh4"]YouTube - memoirs of an Isaan story[/ame]

Please let me know what you think, as I need to document it for my project.
These are the things I would like to ask you:
    1) how much can you understand the words, and what do you think the song is about?
    2) do you feel something of the thai culture within the music?
    3) which countries and cultures does the music make you think of if you take away the singing?
    4) have you heard other music like it, and what is the other music?
    5) Does it make you think of Isaan?
    6) what would you change to make it better for the Thai person to listen to?
    6) Do you like the meaning of the song, and do you feel it has special meaning for some Thai people?
    7) Have you heard many other songs which talk about this meaning also?

The meaning of the song is about a Thai man who meets a young Isaan girl.....then he leaves her and breaks her heart and allways remembers the day they finished.
He see's her a little while later and finds that she had been left with no money and had been forced to work the bar. It is about the mans regret at the loss of innocence and life within this young woman.

Please write as much as you can, and also tell me all the things you would change about it. Thanks very much!!
