I think she is trying to keep people from looking like the typical tourist slob. Idiots show up in Bangkok, wearing an orange wig, slap shoes and a beep nose, then complain when they are treated like clowns!

Re: Keep safe while travelling
Don't be stupid! Act accordingly as if you were in a dangerous place in any big city. Smile, walk away fast and avoid tourist locations. Do the research and do not get taken by criminals. Use common sense. If you don't know, read this blog and avoid all these problems. Set yourself up in a way that if you are robbed, they can only get a small amount. Tland can be wonderful and most dangerous at the same time if you look farung. Once again, don't be stupid.

I don't really think asking people not to be stupid will be taken in well by most individuals (including myself, for example). People come here asking for advice because they just hope to know more than what they already know, and that's that - not scolding :(
Sleep, little one, close your eyes, mother will sing you a lullaby... Sleep in a jewel cradle, sleep, mother will rock you.
If you don't sleep the midges will go for your eyes and pollen will fall on the cradle....Sleep, close your eyes...
