If English is your native language, and you have a BA or better, you can get certified and become a teacher. That's about the only real job readily available to foreigners.

You could also work for international companies. Though most foreigners set these jobs up from abroad. However, once here, I have known people who have changed jobs by using contacts they have made once here.

Re: Jobs for foreigners in Bangkok?
I am trying to find work in Thailand, and teaching English is not an option for me as I'm asian. Is there any good job placement companies in Thailand where I can submit my CV to. I have got 10 years of Operations management experience and would like to continue on this path. I know with the current economic climate everything is on hold, but I'm just hoping for some luck.

Almost all of us are Asians, but the most profound jobs(as far as I know) in Thailand is teaching that subject, there you can get a fair and enough salary, not so sure how much.
Because establishing business in Thailand needs a lot of work.
But our friends around here have already established their businesses in Thailand and you may ask them for vacancies.

Does anybody know if there are some american ran companies in Bangkok that might be hiring? I too am looking for potential work, and I do not have BA. But I am also considering possibly studying Thai language in Thailand.

There's four ways I know of getting a non-teaching job. Starting your own company, getting employed by a foriegn company and getting posted to Thailand, getting a job a your embassy or cultural centre or getting a job for a Thai company. Thai companies do recruit foriegner specialists I've known a lot of foriegners working in Thailand in my time as engineers.
