Re: Game: where was this photo taken?

yes, the "terrain" button on google maps helped me out on that. maybe when my brother comes over, if ever (hasn't been in 6 years), we can go together.

always good to have something to look forward to. sometimes even better than actually getting to do it eventually.

    thanks for sharing.

Okay, I will give it a try. It's hard to find good pictures for this because my pictures seem to be either absolutely obscure or completely obvious. Maybe? this is somewhere in the middle?

several times in this thread I thought my photo was very easy, turned out that things that are self-evident for me are not always self-evident for everyone

I think the same is true for most of us. I do not have a clue about the current one!

This one is really easy and I'm sure the first person to see it will get the correct answer, but I was cleaning up my desktop and noticed it, and it's not a bad picture.

Hey Betti, it looks like it's done and dusted....but it was a good idea while it lasted, I came across this post a couple of days ago and read through it a few times and thought it was great. I only recognised 1 picture, which was djaidee’s Golden Buddha on the hill.....or Khao Chee Chan Buddha Image....It is a really good way for people to see new places of interest.........for me, Guava’s, Phu Phrabat Historical Park in Udon Thani and 5tash’s hot springs in Ranong really interested me. The hot spring will be a day trip for me and I was planning to head to Nong Khai when I next arrive in Thailand at the end of November, so will stop in at Undon Thani and have a look at the historical park.
Not trying to flog a dead horse...but where is this????? If anyone is interested....
