Hello, my name is Chris and I am a 48-year old man from Canada. For the past 8 months I have had the glorious pleasure of meeting, and then falling in love with a beautiful lady from Ratchthani province. We are currently engaged to be married and I will be travelling to Thailand to marry the lady of my dreams, no later than April of 2013. While she is able to speak and understand english, I feel it is VERY IMPORTANT for me to learn the Thai language. This is because I intend to live in Thailand. I don't want to be a tourist. I have never seen Ubon Ratchathani shortened to Ratchthani before. It is more common to refer to it as Ubon.
