my friends call me Dotori because it's similar to Tori and it means acorn -___-" Lol
I've always wanted to visit Thailand and it seems I may get the chance this December, so I wanted to try to learn a little of the language before I go.
Um yeah...that's about it! It's nice to meet you! ^^

Hi, you can call me TheCat. I'm a Dutch boy and I want to learn Thai language and I want to learn about the culture. After my study I want to go to Thailand because of my girlfriend there. She's learning my language so I will do my super best to learn her language too. I already learned many things about Thai culture and it's different than most people think how it really is. The same like all Dutch people walk on wooden shoes haha. But I still need to learn so many things, but that's beauty about life, we can never stop learning.

    Hi Richard
Many thanks for your warm welcome. I am sad that i join as news of the floods gets worse and Bangkok reels under more and more water. I pray for the safety of all.
But i look forward to being part of a community consisting of a people and culture that must be one of the most unique in the world. Thais have my untmost respect and admiration.
While it is not my full time profession (part- time only - i am a senior business advisor and trade promoter) i am TESOL qualified and have come across many who are determined to learn more about this difficult animal called 'English'.
All must feel free to give me a yell anytime if they need help with their english. In the mean time i approach the learning of the Thai langauages with excitement and trepidation.
My very best regards and my prayers to all.
    Paul
