Re: New Members Please Introduce Yourself Here
สวัสดีครับ I really hope I finally wrote that right.
I am a student at the university of Wisconsin - Platteville. i am currently in the process of applying to attend Thammasat university in Bangkok, Thailand. I am really excited to go but I want to be sufficient in speaking the language before I leave that way I am prepared for whatever may come my way. i love learning language and learning in general, thus why I am becoming an instructor. Study abroad is an opportunity not many people in my family has been able to do and if able to go, I will be abroad the longest of all my family.
I am hoping to gain valuable contacts not only here in the US but also contact at Thammasat University or within the city of Bangkok itself.

สวัสดีครับ Yes I am male. I just wasn't sure if I wrote khrap (in Thai) correct. Ka is written คะ I think, and is used for female speakers to be polite.
I am learning from the Academic Advisor for Asian Affairs at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. She is of very few Thai students and instructors on our campus.

Btw, any more updates about the reconnection between two old friends? Hopefully, they are happily reunited by now.

My name is Jessica, I'm from Canada!
I am currently a student, getting my TESOL Certification to teach English as a second language. I would like to learn the Thai language so I can eventually move to Thailand!
