    Trying to revive my Thai

I used to live in Thailand and I was fluent by the time I left. 10 years later, I can still speak Thai, but not like I used to. So I am trying to revive my Thai by starting over, blogging about it, and I am making a Conversational Thai course to teach others how to speak Thai. Thats my plan and I hope it is succesful

Re: New Members Please Introduce Yourself Here

Hi everyone here. I'm Asy. The pronunciation is 'A' like 'are' and the 'sy' is like 'sh' in 'shut'. I'm new here, so I hope all the members here can guide me. My knowledge about Thai is like zero and my English skills is also terrible, limited so I might do many mistakes. Please forgive me.

My purpose for joining this forum is to learn Thai language and also improving my English. Please guide me. Many thanks.

Re: New Members Please Introduce Yourself Here

    Hi All, Sawatdii,

I'm bringing the family back for another visit to Thailand for the month of February 2012. We currently live in Gainesville, FL (once known as Titletown, btw.) This will be my fifth time there (I can hardly believe this is 5 times, now). Anyway, we plan to stay mostly in Korat this time, as grandma, Aunt Modeng and nephew Save resides there. They use to live in Dan Khun Thot, Thailand. So, this visit will be different from that perspective. We happily introducing them to the new addition to our little family, young Chomwara (Holly), whose recently turned two years old.

I finally got something I always wanted... an International Driving Permit, so I might even give driving on the left side of the road a go. Why not, eh? How hard could it be. At least I'll be legal when the major collision happens.

Anyways, I just wanted to say hello and go from there.

Anyone know where my son & I can get our little musically developing fingers on a piano in/around Korat? We'd even be willing to rent some daily time on it (~30 minutes/day) at a reasonable fee. Please let us know, ok?

    Mike, Tai, Nicholas and Holly
