If you're expecting all Thai women to be conservative, sweet, genuinely smiley and surrounded by lush greenery and waterfalls (don't look in Bangkok for a start ), you may just not get what you're looking for.

I don’t know what allvira is trying to share. To me Thailand is definitely one of the best destinations for either travelers or long-term staying. There’re various typical fruits and delicious Thai foods at rather cheap price, reasonable price in some touristy restaurant or hotel, less crime, friendly hospitality, mediocre infrastructure, where foreigners will undoubtedly enjoy their stay if they are coming with goodwill and respect the country’s heritages and local resident.

Language barrier seems to be the only little disadvantaged; most Thais do not speak English fluently as of the fact that we’ve never been colonized and I considered this an exciting advantage to be explored.
