Looking for a Suitable Night Club in Bkk

A group of Malaysian tourists, mostly Chinese with two Muslims, aged 20-40 years old, are visiting Bkk next month. Part of their packaged tour activities is night clubbing . They will go for live music with Thai or English songs. Last year they went to Santika and they liked the place ( lucky for them they did not go in December ). This year their tour organizer is looking for a similar club. Any suggestions?

I am told they may not like a sleezy place. They are staying at Grand Hotel in Suk area, so a place nearby may be preferable, though not a must.

    Thanks for your inputs!!
I value informed opinion, not opinion that stems from nothing but attitude. The latter is the depth of ignorance.

Re: Looking for a Suitable Night Club in Bkk

They probably will not have a good time at the true Thai clubs you will find in Thonglor & Ekkamai. I see a lot of farangs and foreigners try to go to places like Nanglen, Jet, Muse, etc and just not have a good time there because it's too Thai.

At RCA, there is Slim which is frequented and liked by a lot of foreigners. This would be my best suggestion. There are 3 rooms there, one with live Thai music, one with Hiphop, and one with Trance.

If they want a nice lounge type club, there is always Bed Supperclub which is on Soi 11 and right next to it is Q Bar. Both very good for foreigners albeit a bit pricey. These two places charge for cover.

Oh actually, I have suggestion that is better than all of these. Recently popular is a place called Fallabella. It's the restaurant but it's a real hotspot and popular with both foreigners and Hiso. The address is 100 Rajadamri (the street with Central World). How you get there is if you are travelling on Sukhumvit and you get the Rajadamri, you turn onto Rajadamri the opposite direction of Central World (South). Then it will be on the other side of the road so you have to make a U-turn maybe half a mile down the road and you will see an opening in the wall marked with the number 100. Enter through there and you will find Fallabella.

Fallabella has a large outdoor area with a live band. A large indoor area and a couple of bars. Drinks are pricey but strong, a Long Island will run you about 300 baht, 2 will knockout a light drinker. They offer whiskey and have an area outside where you can buy authentic italian pizza and some Thai junk food. A very nice place and quite the hotspot now. Lots of celebrities and Hiso, foreigners will feel welcome.
