Jungle flight adventure in Chiang Mai

I went on Jungle Flight adventure last weekend - I really needed some time off! I am often dreaming about flying and it was amazing that with this treetop jungle adventure I could make this dream come true.

There are 22 ziplines from treetop to treetop, including the longest zipline in Thailand (130 metres), 2 skybridges, a treetop staircase, and 3 abseils.

You can read my blog at http://www.thai-blogs.com/index.php/...itle-1?blog=27
click on this link for more pictures, the full story, and detailed info.

    Where is my parachute??

I meant to ask earlier but I forgot - where else have you seen / heard of similar ziplines? someone in thai-blogs commented there is one in Costa Rica. it would be interesting to know.

Re: Jungle flight adventure in Chiang Mai

I used to work for one of these centres back in the UK.

For a while I now wondered how long before Thailand got something similar then saw the very place you went advertised in Chiang Mai a couple of months back.

I wonder if there is two prices, one for Thais and one for tourists, it seems a little expensive clocking in at double the price you'd pay in the UK.

in the UK, where was it? is there a website? I would love to see what spin others put on this zipline thing.

I haven't seen any signs of double pricing anywhere.

Betti, do you know if there is facilities or a reduced price for Scaredycat mothers who would rather stay on the ground while their teen zips through the trees?

    Cheers

I asked the manager about this and he said those scared mothers/partners always end up on the zipwires themselves
I suggest you contact them in email and ask. don't go through one of the agencies in town, those would be more tempted to make you pay more, I think.

I really can't see it - I got scared doing the Tahune airwalk in Tassie and that's quite solid - no ropes, nothing too bad about that!

I did try to email them but it didn't seem to work - will try again.
