There has been some really good conversations here between our Thai students and foreigners from around the world. I know our students have been surprised at how good some foreigners have been at writing Thai. It looks like people on both sides are getting something out of this new project.

What we are planning next is to give you some basic phrases in Thai and English. The idea is to help you with your conversations. All you then have to do is to copy and paste!

WEATHER

อากาศ - weather

ตอนนี้ที่เมืองไทยอากาศร้อน แต่บางที่ก็มีฝนตก
At this moment in Thailand, the weather is hot. But sometimes there is rain.

ตอนนี้ที่เยอรมันอากาศเป็นอย่างไงบ้าง
What is the weather like at the moment in Germany?

ตอนนี้อากาศร้อนที่เยอรมัน และมีพายุฝนด้วย อาทิตย์ก่อนมีน้ำท่วมไม่มากนัก (เล็กน้อย) ในใจกลางเมืองของเราแล้วครับ หวังว่าอากาศจะเย็นลงนิดหน่อยน่ะ
At this moment, the weather in Germany is hot. Also, there are thunderstorms. Last week there were floods in Central Germany, though not so much. I am hoping that the weather will get a little cooler.

Hello. I would like to know you and be your friend.

2. สวัสดีค่ะ ได้เพื่อนไว้คุยกันแก้เหงา ใครอยากมีเพื่อนดีดี แบบเราเจอกันได้ที่นี้นะจ้ะ
Hello. I want a friend I can chat with. Who wants a good friend? You can chat with me here.

<span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'>ไปก่อน</span> - literally means &quot;go first&quot; but is a way of saying goodbye.

1. เราต้องไปก่อนนะ แล้วเราจะส่งอีเมล์ไปหาเธอ
I have to go now. I will send you an e-mail

2. แล้วพบกันใหม่นะคะ
I will see you again&#33;
