Yes, we Thais are normally welcome to all comments from all races, nations that leding us into the best (re)solution(s).

and sometimes we Thais do not listen to USA comments because it sometimes too Idolistic rather than realistic in order to gain only lots of benefits for USA 's politic , economic and welfare.

I am certainly not a Thaksin supporter. But I appreciate what some people are doing to suggest change. ( the power politics, justice for some, corruptive practices for the well off....)

Too much talk now about the colour of shirts and personalities. Forget Taksin forget yellow forget red - start thinking of yourselves as ordinary Thais taht can live together. I'd appreciate my posts being read more carefully.

In Ireland a slogan was often heard. Too many Protestants. Too many Catholics. Not enough Christians. There is a parallel

I agree with you Oeshidez. Thai democarcy needs to be Thai style, not - most definitely not - a copy of the western model. As you say realism is important.

I was actually referring to monetary arrangements between goverrnments when I referred to listening to America. Sorry that I was not clear. ( But one needs to be careful what one writes)

Thank you for your suggestion that we should start thinking of ourselves as an ordinary Thais like you said ,while you were teaching us what we should do, we had been thinking about it all the time.

and so do I wish the posts which I have been written ,would be more appriciate by reading it carefully in the return.

It is such a very great for me that I have had opportunities to share my expression and get it in returns.
I thought we all here in TCB have to learn more from each other.

    Best Wishes and Warm Regards

The RED absolutely right by using their rights to protect their group.
BUT the ways of RED selected to defence themselve by using violence, burning buses, putting a gas truck to Din Deang Road seems to be a very selfish and heartless by using local people at DinDeang Flats as hostages to achieve the goals.

When that rights turn in to things which absolutely interfered, threathen, assult and violence to other Thai citizen's life and security.
It is centainly unacceptable and lots far from the term of true democracy and human right.

True democracy shall give the freedom to citizen and
The citizen shall use that freedom with respondsibility.

Don t we local Thais citizen have the rights to defence our family ????

I wonder why Curt and VC made a groan at the news article. Perhaps they would like to enlighten me?

    Right. Don't shoot the messenger.
By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

I do not mind to get groaneds on my comments without any reasons.

Re: An impotent government lets anarchy reign

Some people seem to think that the 'thanks' and 'groan' represent 'agree' and 'disagree', even though the text says they relate to 'usefulness' and 'un-usefulness'.

Indeed, why would an opinion that is odds with mine make a post un-useful? Instead it gives me a chance to explain why I disagree or even understand better why others have different views than I do.

Perhaps the most useful characteristic of the 'groan' button is to see who uses it the most, and how that correlates to the general usefulness of their posts.

I see oeshidez has posted similar comments while I was writing this
