    tee rak???!!!

OK, so if a guy writes teerak to me in an email what does that mean - anything at all? In English lots of people use the word 'dear', 'darling', sweetheart etc just as a loose term without implying any real depth of feeling. Is it the same in Thai or would a Thai guy only use this word for a girl he felt emotionally involved with? Thanks as always! Susie.

teerak or telak is used a lot here in thailand basicly means darling, its a tuff one i think its used to much but i believe the true use is for a loved one, girlfriend boy friend so unless you want it that way dont get to deep envolved using the word or you might start getting to much unwanted attention,,,,

I won't call my friend 'teerak' or any close friend if i didn't mean to call him 'my love'
so for me.. teerak mean what I really mean ,, and if i didn't love that one i won't call or right it in any letter ^^

    Re: tee rak???!!!

Thanks. I started it by referring to him as my teerak and he then replied to me as teerak and said it was the right word to use... but then again we are both quite flirty! We shall see... it's funny how a word can be innocent or not-so-innocent. I suppose it all depends on the person using it and how they interpret it. Thai is such a difficult language. Then again in English, there are people who use 'darling' all the time even for acquaintances.

Sorry guys it take me so long. I have to ask my Teerak (nigel) to help me with
my english to explain in here. I don't want to be laugh at.

1 Put the pan on heat on high
2 add oil in the pan if you use 2-3 egg use more oil.
3 wait until oil get very very hot
    4. while you wait for the oil to get hot crack eggs in to the bowl
whisk the eggs until its mix and bubbly
5 pour it in the pan wait until the side in the oil golden brown.
    then you flip the egg.

    Thanks for remind me again.

(my Teerak did not help in this post)
