I took these last two pictures at 6.30 p.m. when it was already dark. It is taken on the main road in front of the city hall plaza. As you can see, it isn't really that crowded yet.

The Temple Fair is this week on Thursday 28th October 2010 and lasts until 8th November.

The opening ceremony for the parade is tomorrow at 7:45 a.m. at the Provincial Hall in Samut Prakan. The red cloth will then be paraded around Paknam as in the map on page one of this thread. Then taken by boat to Phra Pradaeng for another smaller parade. Then back on the boat and taken to Phra Samut Chedi for the final ceremony at 2 p.m. I will be following the red cloth for the entire route posting pictures live on twitter.
