Embarrassing photo of someone familiar
Here's the photo, I took it at a party in my apartment in Bangkok about 12 years ago.
1. Who's the lightweight party goer who coudln't keep the pace and is looking rather worse for wear?Last edited by Khun Don; 25-09-09 at 09:38 PM. Reason: Removed picture. Khun Don removed reference to drugs-family site.

Unless that is you in the picture, you are actually breaking numerous Thai cyber laws and could face up to five years in a Thai prison. Probably a good idea to remove it. I cannot see anything funny about it.

Re: Emabarrassing photo of someone familiar
Maybe we should have a list of Thai cyber laws. I always believe in people's privacy, That's why when ever I post a photo of Thailand with my former Thai girlfriend in it, I blank her photo out as I want to respect her privacy. I think it's best to ask some one's permission before posting a photo.

Re: Emabarrassing photo of someone familiar
As webmasters in Thailand have been arrested already for allowing pictures degrading others to stay on their forums please allow me the privilege of being cautious. One Thai webmaster was arrested for allowing a nude picture to be posted of someone even though he had already removed it as soon as it was reported to him. I presume that your post was cryptic in some way and that there is probably a punch line coming later to make it funny. I just didn't want to run the risk that you hadn't received permission from that person to post his picture on the internet. The picture is obviously degrading to him and in your post you implied that he is a drug user.

The event occurred 12 years ago and I'm surprised you don't ask the person yourself.

Well, if you have permission from him then I guess it is alright to put back.
