เวลา 14.00 น. - พิธีอัญเชิญกิ้วอ้วงฮุกโจ้ว เทพเจ้าทั้ง 9 พระองค์ประจำดาวนพเคราะห์เสด็จเป็นประธานและประทับใน เทศกาลกินเจของวันขึ้น 1 ค่ำถึง 9 ค่ำเดือน 9 ตามจันทรคติ (ฝ่ายจีน)

2 p.m. - Invite 9 gods to attend the Ceremony

เวลา 14.00 น. พิธีอัญเชิญไต่สือเอี้ยเสด็จเป็นประธานในพิธีโพวโต่ว (พิธีทิ้งกระจาด)
เวลา 19.00 น. พิธีลอยกระทงเพื่อเชิญดวงวิญญาญทั้งหลายที่อยู่ในน้ำ มารับเครื่องเซ่นไหว้ในวันรุ่งขึ้น ณ โรงเจท่งเสียงปากน้ำ

2 p.m. -
7 p.m. - Loy Krathong Jay at city hall

เวลา 11.30 น. พิธีอุทิศหีบเสื้อผ้า (อุยเซีย) และเครื่องเซ่นไหว้ให้กับบรรพบุรุษที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว
เวลา 12.00 น. พิธีโพวโต่ว อุทิศเครื่องเซ่นไหว้ให้เหล่าดวงวิญญาณทั้งหลาย
เวลา 14.00 น. แจกข้าวสารแก่ผู้ยากไร้

11.30 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Prayers and offerings for ancestors
2 p.m. - Offering rice to the poor

เวลา 19.00 น. ไหว้บูชาดาวนพเคราะห์ (นำซิ่งปักเต้า) พิธีเวียนเทียนรอบใหญ่

7 p.m. - Main wientien at Rongjae

เวลา 6.00 น. พิธีส่งเสด็จกิ้วอ้วงฮุกโจ้ว (เทพเจ้าทั้ง 9 พระองค์) ขึ้นสู่สรวงสวรรค์ (ซั้งแก่) เคลื่อนขบวนแห่ไปประกอบพิธี ณ เขื่อนศาลากลางจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ

6 a.m. - Major parade through the town from Rongjae to city hall and back. Ceremony at Chao Phra River.


เวลา 19.00 น. ของทุกวันมีพิธีเวียนเทียน และพิธีสะเดาะเคราห์ปีชง ฉลู มะแม จอ และมะโรง

=) Ya, the timing says about 2pm to 7pm... Duno what's the exact period when the krathongs will be released... N the temple fair's already over by this date...

Loy Krathong Jay is about 7 p.m. It says on the schedule that it is at Rong Jay. But, last year they went from here along the road to City Hall where they floated the krathongs. I presume they will do the same this year. At 2 p.m. it is just another ceremony at Rong Jay which is not related to this.

This is the official schedule but I will try and get these key events confirmed when I go to Rong Jay on the first day.

Everyone is so busy with the Temple Fair, a very big affair, that there is no more new updates on the Vegetarian Festival at SP

Sorry, we didn't have anything new to add. However, we just heard that Somdet Phra Phuttacharn, the acting Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, will be coming to Samut Prakan tomorrow morning to take part in a ceremony at Rong Jay to open the eyes of the Chinese Gods. This is a big thing as he is effectively the leader of all Buddhist monks in Thailand. Hopefully this small Chinese Temple won't be very crowded tomorrow. So, don't tell anyone else.

You really did such a amazingly fabulous job with all the wonderful updates on the temple fair I almost felt as if I'm there already, thanks so much... Only thing lacking is the smell hahaha that cannot diffuse through the pc
