    Bumrungrad Vs Samitivej Hospital

Hello everyone. I need your help.

Can anyone suggest me which hospital is better for treatment like endometriosis. If you can suggest me any doctors it'll be great. Waiting eagerly for your valuable suggestions.

    Thank you.

My neighbour is a doctor and his wife was a nurse. She says that in her opinion Bumrungraad is your best option, although it may not be the cheapest.

Been to both. Keep returning to Bumrungrad. Done with Sametivej.

Sametivej is obsessed with getting people into the O.R.. They are probably working on a surgical solution to the common cold as we speak!

Aren't most doctors here? My experiences with doctors here are that once they know that you are a foreigner, they always push the most expensive treatment and medicines to you. Forget about using the "prakan sankom" because they make you wait for 3 hours and then give you pain killers.
My girlfriend sprained her ankle and it got a little swollen and difficulties in walking. Since she is covered with insurance, we thought we might as well have them looked. She went to Bangkok Hospital and after showing them her insurance card, services were tip top, with a helper pushing her around everywhere on a wheel chair. Came the doctor, the doctor first recommended x-ray. Ok, I can accept it.. maybe the doctor just want to be sure there's no broken bones. After the x-ray, the doctor was sure it was just a sprain. But guess what, he recommended cast so she can recover fast! The way I see it, he probably just want to max out the insurance limit.
Anyone who can recommend an ethical doctor here in Thailand, please do.

Bumrungrad is supposed to be the best and it is pretty fancy. The experience we had with a doctor there wasn't the best. My wife had an accident on our homestay family's farm on our last day of a 3 months US Peace Corps training period. A foot bridge collapsed under her and she fell into a moat twisting her leg. She was in terrible pain and was brought to Bumrungrad to see a doctor there. They couldn't find anything broken and he prescribed physical therapy. We both stayed in a nice room in a large hotel attached to the hospital. I pushed her twice a day in a wheel chair to her physical therapy. This went on for 2 weeks but she didn't get better. Peace Corps paid the bill. We finally decided to return to the US. She saw a sports medicine doctor who diagnosed a partially torn meniscus. She was operated on and recuperated quickly. She no longer has any problems with her knee.
Before returning home we both had to have complete physicals. I found the service excellent. Only a young inexperienced nurse had to stab me 5 or 6 times to draw blood. In her frustration she finally told me I was too fat. My wife overheard us in the waiting area, came in and slapped my arm. A vein popped up promptly. Afterwards the nurse whispered to me:"Does she do that at home, too?" She was serious.
