    Gossip about my husband!

I didn't post for a long long time. My husband and I have a very good relationship but one of his habit makes me feel sooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous and that is he doesn't plan in advance. For example, we are going to Singapore this week(Friday). He has to fly from America to bangkok. He hasn't book a ticket yet. Can you believe that? My god!

As a woman, I plan my trip a year in advance but my husband plans his trip a day before always......

He was like this before we married. I accepted that but sometime I feel like a tiger, wanna eat him. I still love him LOL.

There is nothing serious in this thread. I just want to gossip him.

    so sweet of you ...

Just part and parcel of relationship - may be his little habits (and some of yours too) add spice to your marital bliss Life may be duller if we and all our loved ones wear a halo over the head

    HI

well if we are going to gossip
I find it strange that he would wait until the last min to buy ticket
as that would cost a lot more money and most men are cheap.
so you live in "thailand full time and he still lives in USA

If he has always been like this maybe he has something to hide.

A day before, I call that forward planning. I have been known in the past to book a trip less than 6 hours before flying and have a 4 hour drive to the airport...

I did a similar thing when on holiday and living in London pre-internet days. Got bored, packed a bag and went to Heathrow mid week late at night, bought a ticket from an airline desk & flew to Amsterdam for a couple of days within hours.

    Not sure of that concept.

At the moment I know I will be in Thailand by 20th November the latest but as to where I will fly to (Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore) and where I will fly from (not even which country I will fly from) never mind the date.

But time is something I have plenty of so am not fixed to dates. Overlanding part of the way to the Middle East, or even India, seems tempting as does flying to a neighbouring country and taking the train for the last bit.

    Re: Gossip my husband!

I am not gossipping my husband here I just wanted to participate in this thread - lol.

My husband!, he always does things in the last minute and it creates a lot of unhealthy environment especially when it involves with my plans. For example, the other day, I planned to leave home for a sport event at 12.30pm and he was working around the shed all morning which was fine. It didn't seem that he would stop working so I reminded him that we were leaving at 12.30pm and he agreed to it. the last time I looked at the clock was 12.00pm and he was still working - no sign of packing away. My temperature started to boil then I heard a tree pruner engine at 12.20pm but hoped that it was at the neighbour's yard. I went down saw my husband pruning all the branches at 12.20pm which to this point I was like this ------> OH..well..it's the men's thing. Any way, he got dressed without having a shower, luckily he doesn't stink - LOL. - I now would say to him that we leave home half an hour earlier than the actual departure. I learned from so many situations

    Thanks for the thread, Soulmate.

But isn't his changing the original plans at the last minute worse, like just deciding not to go at all?
I value informed opinion, not opinion that stems from nothing but attitude. The latter is the depth of ignorance.

It's not just men. My wife can be like that too when she gets involved in a project or other activity. She loses track of time or cannot give a good estimate how long something takes. When she goes to stores she might say she will be back in 1 hour. She show up 4 hours later. I try to have a sense of humor instead of getting upset. She says she will be done on the computer in 10 minutes. I say:"Right!" with a tone of voice indicating I don't quite believe it. 1 hour later she finally finishes.

Relationships are always an adventure. Right?
