Re: Aluminum windows: is it easy to find job in Bangkok?
Actually aluminium windows (generic definition) production in Australia is still in a developing stage if we compare it with Europe, yet almost manufactures still use USA's old and hopeless patents.
Recently some business people started importing European style (especially Italian) ready to install products from China and labelling as "Australian" product!
Also as I said above, "aluminium windows" it's a common and easy to understand meaning for everyone.
What they now use in USA it's still European ideas and technology.
Regarding vinil, PVC, timber, composit etc. etc. that is the result of a marketing mix view adopted to make people more and more confused about what to buy for their homes.
Sorry for being a bit off topic.

POSSIBLE alternative way:
Teaching.
As far as I am aware, Australians qualify as "English language native speakers" in Thailand -someone correct me if I am wrong.
Get a university degree, if you do not already have one, and do a short "Teaching English as a Foreign Language" certificate or similar.
I know I make it sound simple, but you may be able to do a degree (any subject counts) part-time. Same with the TEFL-which can be done in weeks and months rather than years. (not sure the TEFL is absolutely necessary-but it has to help in getting a post in Thailand in these hard times.)
Age is no barrier to Uni in UK-got to think it is the same in Oz.
I went to Uni at 30+ after 15 years of NO academic work and NO academic qualifications-still passed out in top 10%.
Wont pretend it was not really hard work for the first year though-had to learn how to write an essay properly etc-but if you want something bad enough....and there are pre-uni courses for older students now-here at least.
Hope this is helpful."There is no such thing as totally useless information"

Re: Aluminum windows: is it easy to find job in Bangkok?
Well, this is true on the paper but wrong in the real life.
Australia it's maybe the most multicultural country (continent) in the world.
The majority of the population has foreigner background plus Australians (native) speak something very very hard to be recognised as a plain English language.
Thanks anyway for useful informations.
