Your account will never be deleted as you have 75 posts already. We will only delete accounts belonging to people who haven't posted or only one or two times AND haven't logged in for a long time. We do this to free up usernames every now and then.

I am sure there is a simple way to delete my account but try as I might, I have not found the help files or the relevant faq files to tell me how to do this. My search has taken me to a different part of Asia so my membership here is now redundant and I don't like leaving unused profiles active on websites, I prefer to delete them. I'd like to delete my membership but I need someone to tell me where to find the information about how to do it. Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, your status could be made into "Inactive Member" by the Administrator. We will refer this matter to his attention. But all your posts will remain in the different threads.

Hmm, why don't you just stay on? You can always come back to read and post here when you feel like it. Cos once you delete, it's irreversible and even if you do manage to get back your original username, things will, well, just don't feel the same anymore. I don't really know what your search is - is it for an Asian soulmate? (am just assuming it off some posts that you made which I read about) - but sometimes people fall in and out of love for certain places, certain cultures, but then a couple of years later, they rediscover their love and sentiments for the places and cultures all over again. Then, there will be lots of regret that one's past traces to them had been all erased by oneself long ago...
