I have a few Wat Prathat photos to add. There is so much to see and we took so many photos I had a hard time deciding. We've only been 3 or 4 times up there. I took panorama photos of Chiangmai but still have to stitch them together again unless I find the one I thought I did before.

Chiang Mai panorama from Doi Suthep. Unfortunately, I had to shrink it quite a bit.

my first and only border run to Mae Sai - white temple outside Chiang Rai on the way.

the second temple I have never been able to identify, not even google maps makes it absolutely clear. it is not far from the border, just outside Mae Sai, to the left off the main road. steep cliffs behind temple with lots of monkeys.

it is not quite Chiang Mai, but belongs closely to the CM experience. I don't think I know anyone who never had to do a border hop here. those who are on multiple-entry non-Bs need to go every 3 months.

Thanks, Betti. We didn't bring such nice pictures back from Tachilek. Yes, we had to go once.
