Most certainly lets promote tourism-but TAT needs to use its huge government influence to permanently crack down on the touts at places like the Royal Palace, and Jim Thomson House who make tourists visits an absolute misery by constantly pestering them to go on visits to shops.
These people not only leave a very bad impression on tourists, which they pass on to other potential visitors to Thailand, but deprive these public places of income as they always tell visitors they are closed.
PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS NOW.
