Re: Khlong Saen Saep Express Boat
my friend in BKK used to live near the canal and it was the quickest to take when he went to the centre in peak hours. I went along a couple of times. no idea where it ends.
it is definitely worth it if you want to look at life by the canal. which btw smells and looks like an open sewer. careful that the water doesn't splash all over you.

Bobae is a must stop for clothing shoppers. It makes Pratunam seem like Harrods! Being a "wholesale" market, many vendors will only sell in lots of 3 or more.

Re: Khlong Saen Saep Express Boat
According to the chart on the site belowwhat time do thesae boats run to in the evening?
M-F 20:00
Sat 19:30
Sun 19:30
at the Tha Phan Fa Leelat end
and
M-F 19:15
Sat 18:30
Sun 19:00
at the Tha Wat Si Bun Ruang end.
By the way, I don't see The Mall Bang Kapi on Guava's list. It's my favorite destination on the line. This chart shows it as #3.

Re: Khlong Saen Saep Express Boat
David, The Mall Bangkapi is about 6 more docks past The Mall 3. Here's a site with pictures of the dock signs. The link I give below is at The Mall Bangkapi. Above the picture section there's a listing of other docks you can click on (adjust bar on right if needed). It's in Thai, so I've cut those from The Mall 3 to The Mall Bangkapi and added the English here so others can see what's what.I do! It's between Klong Tan and Ramkhamhaeng with a number '3' after it.
