chat room problem

i got so many of " Error: Connection status: 12029" i dont know whats wrong with it.................

Hi Mulan,

If you have a google of Error: Connection status: 12029 it comes up with quite a few possibilities from say a clash of firewalls to security prob,s and other things. It might be worth a look and see if any of these can be solved from your pc, it seems to be a common thing. Sadly i am not to good on the pc but i wish you good luck on getting it sorted out.

Mulan, I looked it up also and found in a technical discussion forum that it means "bad connection". I doubt it is your firewall because it happens intermittendly. If it was the firewall it would always block you. As far as I can tell the message is sent out by the TCB master program. It constantly, several times a second, sends messages ("I am here, can you hear me?") invisibly to you, to your computer expecting each one to be answered right away. If the master program stops hearing from you it tells you "Connection status: 12029". I suspect the problem is with your internet provider and/or the lines that connect you, perhaps in the phone lines. I hardly ever get that kind of error here.
Do you have any other problems with websites?
