    Singapore News About Thais/Thailand

Sorry that this rather unflattering news article is the first one in what I hope to be a series of periodic Singapore news about Thai people or Thailand in the limelight. No offense meant as it just happens to be the most recent one on hand when I got this idea to start this thread today.

Anyone else with more news (regardless whether they are new or dated) to add to the thread is most welcome!

This one is about a Thai couple who was each fined S$1000 for committing an obscene act in the bushes.

Oh this news, I had read it in my Straits Times Apps on my phone yesterday...Well this happens most of the times and it not just restricted on thais only. I believe some foreign workers also hides somewhere and make a part time tents too.

Opps not to forgetting the locals too. Once in the while they did post it on STOMP...

This one is not really news per se, but carries the brief biography and accomplishments of Pornsak Prajakwit, a 29-year-old Bangkokian who has moved to Singapore since young and is now a Singapore PR. A rising star in the media world and definitely my favourite TV host from Singapore. He is also said to have opened a Thai restaurant in Liang Seah Street, named Porn's: Sexy.Thai.Food.

If you have the chance, do visit this Thai restaurant in Liang Seah Street and do blog a review of it. I believe this will contribute to our readers here! That will include me as well...

There is one very good existing review done by a food blogger if you google for "Pornsak Singapore".

May I verify with you...Could this webbie be the one which you are referring to? The place looks rather ok and inviting for a place to dine in. However nowadays I'm restricted on the choice of foodie, no meat and only vege.

Thanks and I do feel a bit pity as the blogger should focus a bit more to the surrounding atmosphere as this is also 1 important aspects to play with. To make a place that is inviting to be with, it must contain look, taste and smell. Not to forget the place too..

Haha well I'm a taste lover and as long as the place is not that bad enough. I won't mind at all.

Here are the unflattering news article from STOMP mentioning of Couple engages in 'full make-out session' at carpark -- in full view of residents. And even 1 reports mentioning of couple keeps smooching away on MRT. No offenses as I felt that all these info keep on reporting on STOMP. It not a surprise news since day one and sometimes I find it boring...

Last but not least, even this was as reported in STOMP....Foreign couple goes on a date -- with a blanket. All the links are provided below.
