I'm staying at Sengkang for the past 10+ yrs. Before that, I had been staying at Whampoa, Kim Keat Ave where Shuang Lin Monastery is...

This is one of my favourite dish when I always visit Shuang Lin Monastery. It's call Toufu Goreng...It's a toufu mix together with sauce, peanuts plus some carrots and cucumber. Enjoy the pics below.

I love taohu goreng too. This is originally a Malay dish that has since evolved in Singapore to become something commonly served and enjoyed by the Chinese population, akin to many other Malay-originated dishes, such as nasi lemak, laksa and mee siam.

Nowsaday our SG food standard dropped, thanks to some people coming from Malaysia and China who cooked like dog food. Please get out of my country!

Yes, I know that temple. All the Singapore Taoists and Buddhists know that place.

The 城隍庙 [cheng huang miao] is Taoist temple, beside this temple is Shuang Lin. So there are 2 temples, or maybe 3.
