Sala Keo Kou in Nong Khai

I went to Thailand for a visit to my in-law's family last month (3/2011). They live in a small town about 50 km from Khon Kaen. We took a day trip to Nong Khai and stopped by a religious theme park with the name: Sala Keo Kou. It is a very interesting place. I have not seen one like it anywhere else and the story about it's founder is also very interesting. You can find out more about it at wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sala_Keoku .

I'm a first time poster so not sure if the pictures will show up.
anyway, this is my third time to Thailand. We try to go there every 2, 3 years for a month long visit and I love it everytime, especially Isaan area.

I went to "Sala Keo Kou" also known as "Wat Kaek" many times; back then during my first visits, the founder was still alive.

A very impressing, beautiful and mystical place.
